Is futarchy somehow related to Nassim Taleb's "skin in the game" philosophy? @robinhanson @nntaleb

Both emphasize incentives, so that's a relation.

Skin in the game is NOOOOOT about incentives, but survival/filtering.

Society's definition and Taleb's definition are just different. Society means incentives with (perceived) downside. Taleb means filtering by exiting the sample. I think Taleb should call his concept something else, maybe "survival in the game."
