Agree with what you wrote minus Pascal's Wager. If I believe in God and I'm wrong I have no downside. If I'm right, I have big upside. If I believe in bitcoin and I'm wrong, I have downside (loss of capital). If I believe in bitcoin without buying, I have no upside if right.

That’s correct. I suppose the caveat is portfolio allocation, ie 1% of your net worth. In that scenario, the analogy would apply.
