Great question, but I think it's better as: What's better for society: - all people teaching one day a month - all people taxed 5% for education Quite clear why we don't have rotating part time teachers...

Thanks! I think yours is a different question though. I agree, it's obvious that some amount of outsourcing is good _overall_. But i'm not sure it's the better choice for _everyone_.

Anyway I don't really have an answer. What I'm experimenting with is trying to frame these questions in terms of non obvious tradeoffs.
