Complaining about Aloha Poke for enforcing their trademark is like me taking offence to Lenny's Sandwich Shop, a sandwich shop founded by a Chinese entrepreneur. My people "invented" the sandwich, Lenny is generally caucasian name. This is absurd.

Literally taking words from someone else’s language and trademarking them so the phrase must be defended from *its own cultural use in its own home* in the first place is pretty shittastic. He never should have been granted the trademark, or applied for it.

This is about as bad as the Canadian couple trying to claim "Live Aloha" as their own brand name, to sell shirts. Nevermind that Live Aloha has been a registered nonprofit organization in Hawaii for years...

This is equivalent to trademarking the word hello or goodbye or love. This is like a Chinese sandwich shop trademarking the word hello and suing anyone that uses that word.
