Very shaky statistical analysis. Using international accidents for Tesla? Multiplying their frequency by 3? Comparing news data to non news data for fatalities? Does not look fair or reasonable.
Wow. We did NOT multiply international accidents by 3. There were 3 international accidents, and we counted them as 3.
Fatal accidents in Holland are exceedingly rare per million vehicle miles, so 1 fatality in Holland, apples-to-apples, should count for about 2.1 U.S. fatalities. Canada also >1, China about 0.12. Sum of 3 deaths would be 3.6. Instead, we counted them as 3.
