Parents =/= children is a good point. If the spawn of corrupt dictators want to come to my country and blow a lot of their ill-gotten gains, I have no problem with that, provided they don't break the law HERE and don't take the place of someone more deserving.
The visa lottery is stupid. EB-5...not so much. In cities like London where plutocrats are pricing out the meritorious poor, I would think it's as much a problem of not enough building as it is too much foreign money.
