There’s a free ticket for whoever does the Rubik’s Cube in the fastest time. This is in no way a distraction from the fact we’ve already eaten a lot of the stand sweets. We do have jobs though

Going to put this out there. My cousin is looking to get into recruitment, some kind of apprenticeship / training. He’s 20, works in retail a great sense of humour and just needs a break. Anybody help?

So... I just got an email letting me know about National Council of State Agencies for the Blind (NCSAB) 2020 Spring Conference. The email consisted solely of an image with no text alternative.

Screenshot shows two areas of my desktop. Overlaying the email discussed in the tweet is a window that shows the source of the email and the fact that the image has no alt attribute. There's no other content in the email, just the image.

Education institutions need to provide training for their staff on both the need for accessibility and how to create accessible documents. The creators of the platforms can also put accessibility front and centre of the content creation workflow.

Personally, I’d be concerned about someone with the level of ignorance and lack of experience of the person who set that question being anywhere near children.

Absolutely. We just like everybody are very aware of our strengths and weaknesses, doesn’t make us different in that respect.

Being uninformed is one thing. But the level of ignorance being demonstrated here, by a supposed "educator", is f*cking disgusting
