It’s a money making scam. Make these people pay money they don’t have and then reject them.

Ok I’m going to be the bad guy... we pay fees to the DMV to process paperwork, we pay fees for applications, etc. Why is this so bad? I hate him, but would we be appalled if someone else suggested an application fee to come here? I’m looking for genuine answers, not snark.

Here's the thing... to legally immigrate is a bloody fortune. Charging them for something that could be denied is a flat out scam. I get where you're coming from but knowing him, they pay, they get sent back less whatever $. Like i said, the costs to even get a green card are

Thanks. I understand that, but again, with college applications, just as an example, you pay the fee whether you’re accepted or not.

I trust colleges who have employees who have to process things. Not this admin.

Also, i worked for an immigration attorney for years, just so you know. The FIRST thing they do after filing initial paperwork is register for the military. I feel like that is payment enough for the CHANCE to stay. Not being snarky, just telling you what happens after asylum
