Many signals, not just view count, contribute to what's Trending. The video with the most views on a given day may not be #1 on Trending, and videos with more views may be shown below videos with fewer views. Here's more on how it's ranked: https://goo.gl/ykrtrW
So, I looked at the list, and I appreciate the courtesy of allowing me to see what goes in to YouTube Trending, but everything about the video is fitting to that criteria. I am no professional, but the video hit the top ranking for liked videos in one day, as mentioned.

Also, I don't think anyone could have predicted what was going to happen in that video. That required research. As everyone's seen when almost every Game Theory video hits trending, research goes a long way.

It was towards an audience that uses YouTube at all saying as your video hit trending easily and he used the title of your video as clickbait. Your video wasn't just about gaming, and neither was his. Granted, he didn't make a section for the makeup community, but did you?
