I’m confused though. If we swear and make content for older teens/adults, then we get demonetized. But now if we make family friendly content we also get demonetized with no ads? I’m curious where the “line” is for “kid content”. And if this applies to video game content as well

The line is determined by the FTC definition of child directed content (see D1 of their FAQs here: https://www.ftc.gov/tips-advice/business-center/guidance/complying-coppa-frequently-asked-questions …). The key question: Is it made for kids (ex: emphasis on kid characters/themes)? We’ll share more resources & content strategy guides in the coming months.
