There are fewer worlds in which "You know X" than "X". So there is more evidence required to believe "You know X". How many extra bits do you need for an incremental step?

This depends on what X is. Probably the number of bits for the first couple incremental steps is often nontrivial, but then the series converges pretty quickly.
