The topology: A set X of possible worlds is open if, ∀w∈X, ∃ some experiment which would show the true world is in X if w is the true world.

What do you think of this one: Hypotheses X which are sparse in the space of hypotheses posited in worlds where X is true are unscientific
-
I don't understand this one. What does "sparse" mean here?
-
"Uncommon", "Relatively unlikely to be posited". Overall: An hypothesis X which, if true, would mostly yield observers who wouldn't posit X
-
Ah. Hypotheses which are evidence against themselves.
-
Like hypotheses that imply most observers are Boltzmann brains who would not have observed the evidence that suggested the hypothesis.

Makes more sense glossing possible as "conceivable"
