I watched “Christiana’s Around the Corner” (2018) half on high speed. The small town preacher is gay married to a Black man and they have an adopted baby. It helps convince Ms. New York that small towns are livable. (She saves Christmas there and nabs a literal blacksmith “hunk”)

The movie was bad and dumb (why I watched it on high speed mostly) but the actress was cute and it was nice to see the gay couple, which according to your article, may be a Hallmark movie first? Legit lol at her first meeting the blacksmith/bookstore owner “hunk” tho.
