As we reflect on Matric Results. Congrats on all those who passed. Our duty is to ensure youth have work opportunities. Let’s roll out a National Civilian service, internship programs, venture capital and access to higher education. This is our crucial challenge.

My condolences to the Lorimer family, my colleagues James and Kate, on the loss of Rupert Lorimer. A member of Parliament, a proud liberal who served alongside Helen Suzman in the fight against apartheid. History will note his contribution to SA and the party. Robala ka kgotso.

There is a trend where old women get targeted by youth in the villages &get killed for “witchcraft”. Especially old women who don’t have families. It’s a national issue, but most prevalent in the EC. It’s almost always women, and they get killed in the most barbaric ways. 💔

  19. Truly excellent book. Democracy works by Greg Mills, Pres Obasanjo and Jeff Herbst. Liberal democratic values are being threatened all over the world. AFRICA is a great place to build institutions and strengthen the democratic will of the people. Excellent reads

  20. I read this piece today. It’s a reminder of a system of corruption that has become the ANC. I do hope that arrests are made of the syndicate that has captured our nation. We need change and I hope our media have the courage to report with such exposition.
