I can’t understand why the President would, once again, disparage a man as exemplary as my friend John McCain: heroic, courageous, patriotic, honorable, self-effacing, self-sacrificing, empathetic, and driven by duty to family, country, and God.

He does it because he knows he can, and Republicans like you will do nothing more than tweet your disagreement while still lining up behind him for re-election. If you sincerely want a better person in the White House, run against him as a third-party candidate in 2020.
