I think the SF case study is the most illustrative. It shows the most dramatic drop in crime, and also,

Crime in San Francisco before the pandemic was extremely high. Reporting it may have been low, but it became impossible to park for 10 minutes without having your windows smashed in and any valuables taken. Shoplifting became rampant, property crime skyrocketed.
