Is there any more magical moment than a child’s first steps? Baby Nadie, once so malnourished she fit in one hand, is now, as of this week, up on her own two feet. God knows where her amazing journey will continue to take her, but we feel so lucky to have been there for this step

I am so sorry that this weekend’s tour in the Philippines had to be postponed due to the coronavirus outbreak. I was so looking forward to seeing everyone. Please be assured, I have every intention of rescheduling this trip before the end of the year. #MitchAlbominPH

First, thanks to all for today’s birthday wishes. Our tradition is to take some family and freinds and travel somewhere 2 eat all the foods I don’t eat all year -every fried, sweet, chocolately thing possible. This year it’s PITTSBURGH! Anyone know great food there? We go 2mrw!

Eight years ago today, the earth shook and nearly 3% of Haiti’s population died, and 10% became homeless. A few weeks later, I went there and my life changed. Today, 47 children are at our orphanage in Port Au Prince and they are the lights of our lives.

Two years ago, we lost the light of our lives. Chika Jeune, who died at 7, taught us more about love than we could ever have learned ourselves. Today, in Haiti, we visited her grave. The stone says "I Am A Child Of God." She was. Is. Always will be.
