What budget are you looking for? Do you have an amplifier or do you want powered speakers that don't need one? There are wonderful options these days as cheap as $200 (and as expensive as a half million lol).

Assuming you want powered speakers (I.e. you don’t have a separate amp or receiver), your best bet for that price is probably PreSonus Eris 4.5 or Mackie CR5-X. What turntable do you have? Check if it has a built-in preamp. If it doesn’t you’ll need one.

If you want speakers with the preamp built in, look at Kanto Yu ($329) or Peachtree M24 (399). But if you don’t mind wires, cheap phono preamps are like $50.

And if you already have a receiver with a phono preamp, you can get active speakers like the ELAC that someone else suggested. Or I’d also recommend Emotiva B1, or the terribly named Pioneer SP-BS22A-LR.

Oh I forgot one more powered speaker setup that is great for the price (199) is the Monoprice MM-3. Also no preamp tho.
