Wrong about what? Also, I think that conversations about sex work are consequential, even if we're just talking in our circles: if we stop talking about it, stop thinking about it, stop theorizing about it, we allow it to fade from our memory.

The thing about this is that being wrong isn't so bad: it is how you respond afterward that matters. When I was a student, I was wrong quite often about a number of issues and the only way I got better was by listening to people who pointed out why I was wrong.

Like, if a sex worker wanders into your mentions and points out something wrong, listen to them, maybe ask questions about their response, and learn from them. Then do better the next time. Being wrong is just another opportunity for growth, for learning.

TBH, I wouldn't be as aware, as engaged with multiple issues as I am if I didn't fuck up often as a student and then choose to learn from the fuck up.
