but like, trying not to upset white students feels more like...being a woman in academia moreso than upholding whiteness. which is to say, i don't think you're doing that/teaching white supremacy by keeping yourself safe!

I think it’s a symptom of white supremacy that I have to do this shit! And it’s always such a battle to get campus security to give a shit, I straight-up had a (white) student threaten to bring a gūn to campus and they were like “well if he didn’t put it in writing”
