I have no idea if the current avian flu will jump successfully to humans either directly via another mammal. But if it does, we'll be in very deep shit.

The study concluded that infection rates were actually 2.5 times higher for staff & nearly 6 times higher for students than what was being reported. “The prevalence of SARS-CoV-2 infection in school-aged children is being dramatically underestimated.”

Circling back on this promising treatment. As they say in this article, “You don’t need to wait to be part of a research trial. You can ask your physician—these drugs are affordable and widely available.” So I did! And my #longcovid doc said, "Let's do it"
