No, an app for recording sexual consent is NOT a good idea. It ‘proves’ nothing, because consent can be withdrawn at any time If anyone comes at you with a sex consent app, RUN A MILE and don’t look back. They’re looking for deniability, *not* your safety, comfort or pleasure.

App that handshakes & starts recording, encrypts and streams audio somewhere. After a cool-off period data is deleted automatically unless one of the participants flags it in which case it is kept as evidence, but only accessible by law enforcement.

That raises more challenges than it solves - I wouldn’t trust *any* corporate entity with a recording of my intimate encounters, for a start.
