    As we head into our first days of school remember this- No significant learning can take place without a significant relationship. Take time these first 3 days to get to know your students. Love on them & laugh with them. It will set the tone for your entire year!

    As teachers what we do every day matters! My mom traveled see a former student graduate from SLU Law School yesterday. She was Martin’s 1st & 2nd grade teacher. His story is one filled with tragedy and triumph. He has a heart to serve others and will do great things.❣️

    This past week I shared with my students that I finished my Masters Degree. Today a student brought me this sweet gift and said “Wow, that’s a lot of school. I am proud of you!” Sometimes when we think our students are not paying attention they prove us wrong.
