Google Messages is rolling out birthday reminders for your contacts. This feature can be toggled in settings > Suggestions > Nudges. I have this on one of my devices but not all (running the same version), so it's yet another server-side update. H/T and screenshots:

Apparently, some people in T-Mobile are seeing "Chat features from Google powered by T-Mobile" and the max file transfer is 1.7GB!

Never have any of these new features on the Samsung-like version of Messages... Even on latest Beta
