    You're never too old to transition, & no one is too masc/femme for it. You don't have to be an age, or look a way, or like a style of presenting. You don't need to always know, & you don't need to be suffering or suicidal, or dressing any part. You don't even need to be sure.

  10. In many cases, design paradigms translate better than programming. The cascade layers like Photoshop. Broad strokes in back, details up front, the top takes precedence. Selectors merge like reusable char/para styles in InDesign, & we can override with more direct styling…

  11. We really need to move beyond porting imperative programming paradigms (object-oriented, functional, etc) onto CSS. The context is too different. CSS is *for* changing state, and responding to context. CSS deserves it's own (declarative, contextual) paradigm.

    You can ask DevTools to match "print" styles (and stop matching "screen" styles) in both Chrome and Firefox. Chrome: using the Cmd+Shift+P palette or the Emulation panel. Firefox: click the small "page" button in the Inspector.
