    If you ever wonder why there aren’t more female comics on line-ups, part of it is because when women are the only ones who object to something the narrative becomes that WE are the problem - rather than the creep we don’t like performing with. We shut up or we disappear.

    Jen took down the tweet I quoted, but here is another. What she is asking for is the BAREST minimum - a little solidarity from fellow comics. And somehow that is seen as an extreme position? Nut up.

    When you're a male comedian who just watches women day after day after day tweet about predators being given stage time at places you play with them - and you don't speak up even though you agree with the women? You make us look crazy. You're cowards. You're gonna lose fans.

    Some people say we should leave abortion rights up to states. I say, why stop there? Why not leave it up to counties, cities, neighborhoods, or—and this would really be fun—individual people?

    When I said on Tuesday that when Roe falls, every other right is on the table, I meant it, and I wasn’t wrong. This is revolting, and it is just one more indication of how far they are willing to go to hang onto white nationalist patriarchy.
