Is jailbreaking phones a thing in modern times?

Easiest way to do is it is using the unc0ver method but you'd need access to your phone (saw you tweet about it being locked). As far as I know, there's no way to unlock your phone using other software as jailbreaking is something different.
Yeah the issue here is that the recover method is estimated to take 19 days.. I shouldn't be locked out of my phone for 19 days =/

Apple's support is notoriously bad when it comes to this. At work I deal with a lot of people using iPhones and that's unfortunately nearly always the case
