Basically you don't have to invest a lot into character progression which allows you to actually play and enjoy the game which is how it should be :D

Atleast according to Preach and I think he's a very credible source. There might be more to come as 'The Maw' seems to be unfinished but it also seems like Blizzard is really trying to avoid people feeling the need to do THIS or THAT in order to be able to enjoy the game.
