What's the definition of getting somewhere? He doesn't get to decide that for every person on earth and of course you can get somewhere by playing video games exactly by the way he presents just like there's no guarantee that you will succeed as a jiu-jitsu teacher

What he's presenting is known as the 'old person's mentality' I bet every person below the age of 30 has heard from their parents/grandparents what he just said and that mentality will die with that generation

I can see what he means, but I survived a harsh af childhood thanks to videogames and such, so everyone has diffrent opinions of them, I don't see them as a progress thru life but something I fill life with

99.9% of people wont make big money with video games. But should making money really be the endgoal for every person on earth? Idk i can live a comfortable life where i am at now and still grind video games for the fun of it. Boomer mentality at its finest!
