As a viewer it infuriates me whenever I see comments along those lines, and reminds me of the kind of person telling others to cure depression by just smiling more
Is there anything more disrespectful towards streamers than implying that they look moody or angry when they're in their natural habitat? Streamers are humans too, you definitely don't smile for several hours in a row and you're not hyper for several hours in a row.

Yep. It’s always been this way. This is why I don’t stream with cam when I play now bc then my conversations with chat are more enriching...no more questions about whether I’m sad or angry because I’m not smiling or I’m sick if I don’t wear makeup. Now people talk about the game

I don't have any troubles shutting people down if it happens to me in a nice or in a more aggressive way depending on how the sun is shining that day but it's the fact that you have to absorb those comments and don't even get me started on the appearance related ones.
