I mean I’d love to have 20 teams at blizzcon, but I know my opinion is largely based off of the fact that I consider all the players friends and I hate seeing anyone not make it to blizzcon after all their hard work

Well if these rules were in place last year, The Move would not have made Blizzcon. So to me that isn’t a good thing.

I think there are enough data points this year to make sure the top teams qualify based off of points. There are a lot of tournaments. A lot of pressure on lan now which does not even out over time, one break out performance can seal the deal

Metas change. So some teams may have an advantage early in the year and then not so much later and vice versa.
