  6. Arson Investigators with the MPD are looking for an individual who intentionally set a fire at a Downtown retailer on July 15th. If you recognize the person in the images on this post, you could earn a $1,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest.

  7. The MPD U and T Visa Programs help crime victims receive important police services, regardless of their immigration status. Today, we gave Minnesota law enforcement agencies information on the programs. Chief Arradondo handed out awards to the national team of instructors.

  11. Last night the MPD Community Engagement Team & St. Paul Foundation hosted Safe Summer Nights BBQ at Farview Park. The community and officers enjoyed food and good conversations. The next Safe Summer Nights event is Tuesday, August 14th from 5 to 7pm at 2500 Cedar Ave South.

  13. Community Engagement Team officers spent time with the children at the Ronald McDonald House today. Officers and kids conducted science experiments and played in the park. The kids really had a great time and were given ice cream sandwiches at the end.

  14. Yesterday the MPD Bike Cops for Kids, CET and CSO delivered a brand new hot dog stand to 13-year-old Jaequan Faulkner! Jaequan’s stand at 1510 Penn Ave N was permitted by the City last Wednesday. You can find him selling hot dogs at the 4th Precinct from July 30th - August 4th.

  15. Officers from the Community Engagement Team volunteered at the House of Charity yesterday. They served 200 meals to guests. Officers volunteer at least once a week at this organization and have developed friendships with the community members.

  18. Sophina Lindquist loves the police and has a hobby of bringing them cookies. Yesterday she was showered w/ love at Children’s Minnesota. Lt. Kim Lund & Officers Graupner, Nolan & Thunder joined the MAWP board to visit her and bring gifts. She will be in the hospital for a while.

  19. At 1:40 pm, officers from MPD's 4th Precinct responded to a report of a personal injury crash at the intersection of Dowling Avenue and Fremont Avenue North. Further information is that a semi-trailer had crashed into a passenger car at that location.

  20. Have you heard about the 13-year-old the City cleared to sell hot dogs? Jaequan Faulkner’s stand at 1510 Penn Ave N is officially permitted. He plans to take his food stand on the road to serve customers at places like the 4th Precinct. Our cops stopped by to support the cause.
