“If I am impatient - that’s my problem, that’s not Bitcoin’s problem. Bitcoin has all the patience in the world.” - @wences
Extreme ownership. That is leadership.
Onwards and upwards! Bitcoin’s greatest days are ahead.

1) everyone fucks up: when CEOs do it they usually resign to protect firms; 2) he said he was wrong (because impatient) about an opinion, he didn't take responsability for lying & pushing for an anti-bitcoin attack; 3) is it a strong tactic to avoid sincere & explicit apologies?
-
Tell me just ONE single reason why he should avoid apologies & explanations for the lies & for the btc1 attack? Just his ego? Mind thay I am not so annoying w/ CEOs of firms compromised beyond repair like bc.i, coinbase or bitpay. Xapo could be rehabilitated, that's why I insist.
-
Why are you so emotional about it? I would like to hear a honest and sincere apology as the icing on the cake. Some people know that they were wrong and would not try it again, but their character doesn't allow them to publicly regret and ask for rehabilitation.
-
I'm probably so emotional because I liked the guy.

Maybe his statement was not enough to convince you. Nevertheless I was happy, when I saw it. Try to read between the lines and if you are still in doubt, give him or them some credit of trust. Continuing with the public shaming doesn't help to get them back.
-
Some are lost or not important enough to care about and we should be happy if they leave forever. Imho we should be opportunistic, as we don't play a zero-sum game here either. If we don't agree on all topics, it's still better to cooperate then to destruct.

Nope, it has to be specific to be a real apology.
-
Dude you slapped my wife when you got drunk. “I got drunk because I forgot to eat before I came to the party.” Nope, you gotta mention the slapping and how it is deserving of a near death beating before it’s an apology.
