    (3/3) So are people just holding more cash? And not investing in stocks or bonds? Some money may be moving out of stocks into bonds, but even more money must be moving out of bonds. Is there any other way to explain bond yields increasing?

    (2/3)...but that implies that people are selling stocks to buy bonds. But if the yields are rising, then bonds are selling off too. (It's my understanding that if the Fed isn't raising interest rates, the only thing that makes bond yields increase is their price decreasing, no?)

    Bond thread 1/3 Question about the bond market: When interest rates are rising, that means bond prices are falling, which implies net sales of bonds. Right? This confuses me bc the news is pointing to rising bond yields as the reason why equity prices are dropping...

    a lot of people are mad about this but you need to consider the time it takes for wells fargo to open several bogus accounts in your name before the check clears
