We've had some negativity on Twitter today about us supporting migrants' mental health. We do, and we're really proud of that. We're here for everyone. And that includes refugees and asylum seekers in England & Wales, who have often experienced unimaginable trauma.

We applaud Meghan Markle for speaking out about her experiences of suicidal thoughts. We know that opening up in this way can be really difficult, but when high profile people talk about these experiences, it helps to break down the stigma around mental health issues. 1/3

The killing of an unarmed Black man by a police officer is hard to bear. Especially when young Black men die disproportionately at the hands of the police [source: Inquest]. The Queen's death is dominating the news right now, but Chris Kaba deserves our attention. (2/3)

We're loving that #TransMenAreMen is trending. The fact some people disagree with this is a common reason trans men are more likely to experience mental health problems than the average. A reminder to accept that people know themselves better than you do, and to be kind, always💙

Our new strategy says we will be an anti-racist charity. Overnight, the racist abuse against Black England players has shown why this is so necessary. It is not enough just to be 'not racist' in a country where racism like this still exists.

#MothersDay is traumatic for many of us, for many reasons. To all the people struggling today, we see you, and we send our love and support.
A beautiful illustration by @acosyreader to illustrate our Mother’s Day post. It shows a variety of of impressionistic flowers including poppies, daisies, sunflowers, tulips and cornflowers alongside the words: Above the flowers is the headline “A bouquet for” and alongside the flowers it says “those wanting to be mothers, those with difficult mother / child relationships, those who have lost mothers, mothers who have lost children, those who don't know their mothers, mother figures in all forms.”

An illustration for Mother's Day. At the top it says: Sending love to. On two rows underneath there are three flowers, each one with text attached:

Row 1: Underneath three generic brightly coloured flowers it says those who are mothers, those who have lost mothers, mother's who have lost children.

Row 2: Underneath three more generic brightly coloured flowers it says: Mother's with strained child relationships, those with strained mother relationships, those who long to be mothers.

At the bottom is the illustrator's Instagram handle: @dear_chronic_pain

Both these photos are from this year… the first is from late January when I was sectioned, suicidal and had no hope… The other is from today - genuinely happy, celebrating raising over £40,000 for the charity that helped me recover! Safe to say, things got better! 😀

Charlie - a 28 year old woman with dark blonde hair and blue eyes - is wearing a burgundy jumper. She is holding a champagne glass with Fanta in and is smiling. There is a congrats balloon in the background as well as a kitchen worktop.

More than 2 in 5 men (43%) say they regularly feel worried or low, an increase from 37% in 2009. To all the men struggling with their mental health, we're here for you this #MensHealthWeek (and every other week) 💙 Thanks to @worrywellbeing for the brilliant illustration.
An illustration kindly shared by @worrywellbeing to celebrate Men’s Health Week. On a pale blue square background in a bold darker blue is the headline “Men’s mental health”. There are three rows of pictures, and on each row are four different men’s faces. There are all kinds of men here – white men, brown men, black men, men with dark hair, men with blond hair, men with ginger hair, men with short and long hair, men with beards and without beards. Beneath each picture is a statement about men. So in total there are the following 12 statements to go with the 12 pictures:

Men cry.

Men have panic attacks.

Men have insecurities.

Men self harm.

Men have eating disorders.

Men go to therapy.

Men have trauma.

Men have body image issues.

Men are abused.

Men deserve support.

Men feel things.

Men  need love & care.

Father’s Day is a happy time for some, and a difficult time for others. To anyone who's struggling today, we see you, and we send our love and support 💙 Thanks so much to @stephaniechinnart for this beautiful, thoughtful illustration.
A bright colourful graphic about Father’s Day. In the centre in big bold type it says “A SPECIAL FATHER’S DAY TO THOSE…This is surrounded by a series of images with captions attached to them.

Underneath a card saying, Thinking of you, it says “Who lost their dad and an extra hug to those who lost their dad this past year.”

Underneath an image of blue and purple flowers, it says: “Healing from estranged relationships with their dad.”

Underneath a pink envelope sealed with a heart, it says “Dads who lost their babies.”

Underneath a blue mug saying “First Father’s Day” it says “First time Dads figuring it all out.”

Underneath brown and pink flowers, it says “Who longed for a better father figure”

Underneath a card saying “Congrats on all the bonus love”, it says “Who stepped in as father figures + bonus Dads.”

Underneath a brown starred mug, it says “Who can't be with their Dad today.”

Underneath a blue card saying “We heart you”, it says “Dads who are doing their best.
