Oh look, I'm getting captured in Far Cry 5 again. Time to stare at my phone for the next 10 minutes.
Oooh that, it didn't even occur to me that I could try to dash through without killing anyone... oops. I only thought "Oh no, I'm doing what he wants me to do aaaaah *bang bang*". Didn't see the second one yet, though.

I just have a tendency to try and break any rule put before me in games. I did this before going to study Game Design as well, but it didn't exactly decrease after either. "What happens if I do nothing and wait it out. OK, that doesn't work. What if I just try not killing."

And in a way it felt like it was a valid strategy. It was annoying and very random when you got hit and thus needed to find a safe are where you could stay still and regen. You would most likely run out of time. But after X amount of tries the game keeps adding 5 sec to your time

So it really felt like it was made to be able to "resist the indoctrination". Go through the simulation enough times that you can break free or whatever. But that was only because it was meant to end when you reached that specific location. Here I thought I was smart.

It's a shame, really. I'm curious to see how that will play out at the end of his region, because he can just whip out his music box and control the player.
-
Finished that region now. I was almost a little impressed. But then not really as I tried to dig a little deeper.
