Had one of the most intense, real, and absolutely horrifying nightmares in YEARS just now. Started calm, spiralled completely out of control. My whole body is shivering and I really don't want to close my eyes again.

This is one of the worst things (for me) about nightmares and night terrors: Waking up in the middle of the night. They are so much easier to handle when it's day and people are awake.

Feel my eyes closing again and I really hope there won't be a second episode. Too exhausted to stay awake. Insomnia refuses to visit when I could actually use it.
