      Stuff like this unfortunately happens a lot in Oslo: renters usually jump on whoever is available first, even if there are still people interested in the place they're trying to rent out.

      That truly sucks :( we only had great experiences whenever we bought/sold (at least with the process..houses etc is a different topic :p)

      When I was looking for a new place I had lined up several viewings, and a few of them were unceremoniously cancelled because the rentee suddenly found someone to rent.

      When @valtaroth was looking for a place he had it happen twice that they'd agree on a viewing, he'd get there, and they just wouldn't open the door anymore. Or answer messages. Let alone cancel the viewing.
