Not exactly like this, but similar stories do happen quite a lot. Regarding average viewers, I DID have someone approach me like "I have 3-5 viewers on average and no one is streaming your game" People were streaming, but even if they didn't, what a BAD way to approach someone!
It's pretty incredible (and horrifying) reading the stories of developer / streamer business interactions. That is definitely an awful approach to try to get something for free lol
I have no idea how these people can be entitled to a Dev's hardwork. Every key I request, I feel a deep responsibility to give them the best promotion I can. These arnt freebies to just promote your own site/channel.
