Finally got that dreaded "Pay back your BAföG" student loan mail. BAföG is pretty neat, though. No matter how much money you receive, you will only have to pay back a maximum of 10k. And now, if I pay off all at once by the end of the year, I'll only have to pay 7k!
It still hurts to shell out 7k for what now feels like "nothing", but oh well. I'm glad it's not looming in the back of my head anymore and I'll be 100% debt free soon!
I've got to pay only a little less than 10k if I pay it immediately so I'm going to have them getting all of the inflation time can muster... I would have appreciated them to lower the sum a little more effectively though.
