If we were to entertain the idea for a moment - I think blood gushing from someone due to injury, is very different to menstrual blood which women are used to seeing from around 12 years old. :P I imagine some will struggle with it though!

Oooooh... I'm way more used to injury blood. But that does make sense and a bit of googling also told me that it can be described as “fear of blood where it doesn’t belong”.
