I just wish you could battle wild Pokémon, or rather, have both options. Feed it with berries if it's kinda trusting, or weaken it by battle if it's feisty! #PokemonLetsGo

Same. Also I find wild pokemon battles more palatable than trainer battles. How about a gym that is about befriending the leader's pokemon?
