mmmmhm the critical role minis seem like such a good deal, but i don't paint minis and this shouldn't be my first attempt at it :P (also probably not safe with two cats jumping onto desks and trying to get your attention when you're focused on something)

I tried many many many years back. All it did was get the cat wet. He certainly didn't seem to care either way.

hmmm I thouth that was the usual way to say no to cats. So how do you train cats to making them stop doing things?
-
be nice to them when they do stuff you like. If they do something they shouldn't, say no and make them stop. Like push them enough that they have to jump off the table and such and then show them what you do want instead.

And cats are easily distracted, often it helps by simply directing (like tunnelling with your hands) them a away from what they're trying to do. Don't direct them away with rewards though, then you're rewarding them for their initial behaviour.

ah! good to know
