I see WAY too many people be like "Oh I didn't think that actor could be a good Han in #SoloAStarWarsStory but that was great!"
I can not stress this enough: STOP. WATCHING. TRAILERS. Or reading reviews, or whatever it is you do.
You're ruining films for yourself. You're missing out on good films because you refuse to watch them based on snippets of information. You're watching awful films because they have 2 really good scenes and put those into the trailer, so you think the whole thing is great.

Just go see a film without knowing anything about it. Of course you'll also catch some bad ones, but at least for me, I've seen way more good than bad films ever since I stopped watching trailers.

On that note, see if your local theatre offers Sneak Previews, because imho that is the best film experience you can have.
