I think this is a scam. Trump didn't like Rosenstein and then suddenly they met and I think Rosenstein agreed to help Barr with the watering down of the Mueller report In exchange for getting his pension. He saw what happened to McCabe! Crooked deal. Thoughts?

Very plausible, and in the current WH climate, I wouldn’t be surprised at all if that’s how it played out.

It’s not pension. Rod is connected to the Federalist Society. They had interest in getting Trump elected. While everyone was distracted they’ve been stacking the courts & more. His “job” to keep things going while other stuff happened is done. Trump was cover & no longer needed.
