The baby boom continues! Our second 🦒 calf of the season was born yesterday (8/4) to Ziggy and Baha, their 4th calf.
The calf was:
🦒 Born at 12:20 p.m.
🦒 Standing by 1:05 p.m.
🦒 Nursing at 1:40 p.m.

We are beyond excited to announce a De Brazza’s monkey was born Saturday (6/10).
Mom Holly, 6, had a smooth birth and she and the baby are doing well. Holly is a first-time mom and has been attentive right from the start.

Our gentoo penguin chick is now eating unassisted from keepers and can be seen in the habitat. The chick is the same size as the other penguins, however you may still be able to see some fuzzy feathers.

It's with a heavy heart we announce the passing of Snow Lilly. Due to declining health, she was humanely euthanized yesterday (9/24).
At 36, she was the oldest polar bear in human care in North America, showing the excellent care provided by her team 💚

He was born on Tuesday (4/13) at 10am to A.J. and Stan. He is doing well; he was up and moving quickly after birth and was nursing throughout the day! 💕

NEW! We have a Victoria crowned pigeon chick!
The animal care team is human-assisted rearing it after there was difficulty with the egg hatching. The chick required feedings every two hours at first and is now being fed four times a day.
