Abbreviated public subscriber counts are gradually rolling out starting next week. We heard a lot of feedback from the community following our announcement in May – we’ve updated our original post with more info here → https://yt.be/help/LF4J

How about for once you honestly actually listen to Creator feedback. No one wants this! You’re destroying part of the joy of celebrating a milestone. Fans and creators watching as the last few numbers tick over. Your “reasons” for this change are trash.

Seriously how many times must this keep happening. You announce something. Actual creators say they don’t like it. YouTube ignores feedback and continues. Hell, need I remind you how your own rewind video was the most disliked video of all time! Listen To Creators.

“We hope this helps all creators focus on telling their story, and experience less pressure about the numbers” Sub counts don’t really mean anything anymore. The only real thing they had left was the community aspect of crossing a milestone. Might as well remove them entirely.

Yeah, Spammals. We, the YouTubers will see how many subs we have, but the followers will not. I mean just... just COME ON!!!
