Sure it is. It amounts to, if you are not “tough” enough to put up with assholes you should not get to engage. This means assholes get to govern who can engage. Thus, rule, a given engagement. Y’all just making excuses for being a dick. Grow up.

Wow thank you for finishing what I meant to say, I mean I never even hinted at that being the underlying meaning, but you figuratively put words into my mouth so I'll run with it. There is a difference between being a dick and criticizing someone. Maybe one day you'll understand.

Right, and you started by calling people twats and idiots. Jesus Christ. Wtf is wrong with you.

Yeah. Did that hurt your feelings? I stated my opinion, was I not meant to use any form of insult because it would upset someone? With that same logic I could call you a dick for asking me what the fuck was wrong with me. The fact that I insulted someone doesnt diminish my point

It absolutely does, and my question remains, wtf is wrong that you don't understand that. Its very simple. When you resort to name calling it makes your argument weak and easily ignored. I assumed most people learn that in elementary school

See, bit of a flaw in your point, I was never arguing with anyone. I called the people lurking here idiots and twats (a statement). It WAS meant to be insulting because that is my belief. Notice how when we got into an argument I didnt insult you.

I think that is a bit of a stretch and I think you know it. The first statement in any dialog, targeted or not, is still defacto a part of the dialog. I think this represents some pretty dramatic mental gymnastics to justify what was a poor post in support of someone being cruel.

How is it a stretch, it wasnt a discussion until you came along. Also, there is absolutely nothing inherently "cruel" about calling someone, targeted or otherwise, and idiot. Your point of an insult dragging an argument down is redundant and my comment was made to be offensive.

Right, so, cruel. Being intentionally offensive is cruel. It seeks to harm rather than engage. You spend so much energy fighting for your right to be able to say hateful and hurtful things. No one is stopping you from saying anything, absolutely no one. Just not paying for it.

Right so how does this apply, I mean I've cause no pain nor suffering. And what have you been paying. No one is forcing you to watch this person is what you meant to say, and that applies to you. Dont like what people say, dont listen.pic.twitter.com/lpKJBsEYwH
