C'mon it's the Air Force they stay Nasty... All jokes aside, Military members can attend rallies or fundraising activities as long as they're not in uniform and not creating the appearance of any military sponsorship or approval.
-
In general, active duty military members should avoid any activity that may be reasonably viewed as directly or indirectly associating the Department of Defense or the Department of Homeland Security with a partisan political activity.
-
It was a visit by the commander in chief, their boss, not a political rally on a street corner, Everyone seems to ignore that fact.
-
Interesting...did you listen to cadet bonespurs speech? It was right out of the pages of his campaign rallies! NO president in the history of the US has spoken to the troops about politics, slamming Democrats. Cant imagine what U would have said, if OBAMA would have done that
-
I notice he didn’t reply to that!
-
Why reply? it’s irrelevant. The facts are no troops violated regulations. The Air Force released an official statement saying so. Facts do not care about opinions.
-
Like the Air Force is going to go against the POTUS? Right...I wonder what the AF would have said if they brought Black Lives Matters or Moms Demand Action hats?

Those Red MAGA hats make nice targets for the enemy.
-
WOW! Just WOW! Hope you get some of that attention you wanted.
-
Wow, just wow, the military should be apolitical. Also, did you go wow, just wow, when trump compromised the Navy seals, with his political posturing/stunt?

Yes. And apparently going through a midlife crisis. Delusions of being Rambo.
-
I mean I really honestly wasn’t aware that navy seals identities were private. I’m being honest here. I knew plenty and even more airborne rangers.
-
Generally the military can't hide the unit they're serving in if they wear a uniform with the Budweiser badge on it. Their identity is kept secret though. I suspect a lot of it is to protect them and their families.
-
I didn’t know that to be honest. Never thought about it. Guess I was just always around people in the military as a brat.

When did military regs get rewritten?
-
My dad was in the military for decades, since the 60s, and knew he wasn't allowed to side with any candidate.
-
Thank your dad for his service
