Downside of a preseason is that none of it matters at the end of the day.. so even if "upsets" occur it's pretty hard to gauge how these results could be used to predict main season results, if at all?

i mean, the result doesnt matter but im pretty sure everyone wants to win after all, at least at the beginning of the pre season
